Who We Are

Our mission is to offer a loving forever home to senior dogs and other senior pets in need of sanctuary. Many come to us after being left behind, abandoned, or surrendered through no fault of their own. The Lodge is a wonderful place where these senior doggies can receive quality care, first-rate medical attention, and bundles of love 24/7.
 

To do this, we:
 

 1. Maintain a welcoming sanctuary in the security of the lodge, which is also our caretakers home with a large fenced yard for exercise and play.

2. We work to educate the general public on the value of senior pets, the joy they can bring to the lives of humans, and that they are not to be thrown away or abandoned. There is always a way to take care of them.

3. On occasion, when necessary, we will help to find a foster, or adoptive home, for a senior pet in need. We are connected to various resources and satellites with wonderful volunteers that love our senior pets, and provides them with the best quality care.
 

We are committed to giving our animals the serenity they deserve in their final years, without judgment as to why they came to us.
 

It is our plan that Moose Lodge remains a sanctuary in perpetuity, and eventually grows, so that we can say yes to more senior pets in need.
