Ginger came to Moose Lodge from Deep South Canine Rescue in Georgia around Christmas 2024. She arrived with her best friend, Mindy aka. (Sweet Potato), and the two were inseparable. They ate together, slept together, and spent their days side by side.

Unforutnately, Mindy passed away unexpectedly about a year later, Ginger had to learn how to navigate life without her longtime companion. While we know she mourned Mindy in her own way, Ginger continued to find comfort and companionship at Moose Lodge. Today, she has become part of her own little family, often settling down with some of her favorite friends Noelle, Nyla, and Paddington.

Now around 11 years old, Ginger needs her senior veterinary care, including her wellness examination, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and preventative care.

We don't know much of her history, except that she an Mindy were owner surrendered together to Deep South. The owner had passed and no one in the family wanted the dogs. Ginger is now about eleven and is more a part of the family; she has learned that she can get good companionship from other dogs and she beds down regularly with her favorites, the big guys: Noelle, Nyla, Paddington. It's sweet to see her become a part of a family group, even without her Sweet Potato.
