Noelle's Story 💛

Noelle came to Moose Lodge Senior Pet Sanctuary in September 2025 under unusual circumstances.

After her owner passed away, a man arrived at our door with Noelle in tow. He explained that no one in the family was willing or able to take in a large Rottweiler mix, and he could not keep her himself. Unsure of what to do next, he came across an article about Moose Lodge and reached out to ask if we would consider giving her a home.

We didn't need much convincing.

The gentleman joked that Noelle would come with a "dowry" in the form of a generous donation, but it was Noelle herself who won us over. We have always had a soft spot for big dogs, and we fell in love with her sweet, gentle personality right away.

Now 10 years old, Noelle has been with us for more than a year and a half and has become a beloved member of the Moose Lodge family. She gets along well with the other dogs, loves people, and is always patient when it comes to dinnertime.

One of Noelle's favorite activities is stretching out right in the middle of the hallway, where she can keep an eye on everything happening around her. If someone has to step over her to get by, that's perfectly fine with Noelle—she doesn't want to miss any of the action.

Today, Noelle is living the life every senior dog deserves: a safe home, good food, wonderful friends, and plenty of love at Moose Lodge Senior Pet Sanctuary.
