Moose Lodge SPS Team Bake Sale at Home Outlet Watervilet, NY Imagine this: a sunny April day, the aroma of freshly baked banana bread filling the air, and a gang of silver-muzzled senior dogs strutting their stuff at Moose Lodge Senior Pet Sanctuary's inaugural bake sale! It was a day filled with more sweetness than a golden retriever's grin and more wagging tails than you could count on your paws.
Nestled snugly in the heart of Watervilet, NY, Home Outlet graciously opened its doors to host our event. Our table were piled high with tantalizing treats – from cupcakes fit for a king to brownies so rich, they'd make a poodle jealous.
But the true star of the show? Our event coordinator’s own mom home-baked banana bread, so irresistible it disappeared faster than a squirrel from a tree! Even Mama Cass, our resident doggie diva, couldn't resist sneaking a nibble when she thought no one was looking. Who could blame her? That moist, golden goodness was the stuff of legends, fit for a dog of her stature.

Speaking of Mama Cass, she was on patrol, sporting her "Adopt Me" bandana and charming potential adopters left, right, and center. With her graying muzzle and gentle demeanor, she proved that age is just a number – and love knows no bounds, especially when there's a slice of banana bread involved. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers and the overwhelming support of our community, we raised a whopping $222! That's enough to keep our golden oldies in treats, belly rubs, and maybe even a few rounds of bingo.
